This week’s NFT sales fell 5% less than last week, and Ethereum NFT sales accounted for 76.8% of the total volume.

On Monday, December 5, 2022, market data showed that non-fungible token (NFT) sales fell 5.23% less than last week’s sales despite a 15.16% increase in NFT purchases.

Of the $112.70 million in NFT sales volume over the past week, Ethereum-based NFT sales amounted to $86.59 million or 76.8% of the $112 million in total sales volume.

Seven-day NFT sales fell 5.23% less than last week, and Cryptopunk #4181 sold for $187K in the highest NFT sale of the week.

Nearly $112.70 million in NFT sales volume was recorded over the past seven days, according to cryptoslam.io stats.

The volume is 5.23% lower than last week’s sales volume and metrics show that there was a 2.4% increase in NFT transactions.

Most of the sales volumes originated from Ethereum-based NFTs, as there were $86.59 million in Ethereum-based NFT sales over the past seven days.

However, Ethereum-based NFT sales are 10.06% lower than in the week before last.

Solana NFT sales saw an increase of 29.57% and it recorded $16.11 million in NFT sales over the past week.

Algorand saw an even sharper increase of 55.15% above ALGO-based NFT sales last week, but ALGO NFTs only saw $93,242 in total sales over the past week.

The most expensive NFT sold over the past week was Cryptopunk #4181, an Ethereum-based NFT that sold for $187,000 two days ago.

It was followed by Cryptopunk #4181 BAYC #276 which sold for $179K and Azuki #9143 which sold for $174K.

At the time of writing this article, between Cryptopunks and BAYC Group, BAYC has the lowest price.
