Answer Digital payment company Stripe now supports crypto payments for freelancers in USDC

  • Digital payment company Stripe expands use of the USDC digital stablecoin.

According to an announcement on September 22nd, payments giant Stripe has made Circle-backed stablecoin (USDC) payments available to freelancers,

Circle co-founder Jeremy Allaire told that the USDC digital stablecoin represents a more comprehensive way to send money to people around the world.

Self-employed people who live in countries with large unbanked populations are more likely to struggle to get paid for their work.

Hence, Striple’s addition of USDC could be a potential game-changer for these people since they are no longer restricted to traditional payment options.
