Answer Multichain Collaborates with RSK Blockchain to Promote Access to DeFi on Bitcoin

Multichain, formerly known as Anyswap, has announced its collaboration and integration with the RSK blockchain, which is a smart contract platform built into the Bitcoin blockchain.

According to show Journalist, the integration aims to facilitate the transfer of Ethereum, USDC, BUSD and other cryptocurrencies between RSK, Ethereum and the Binance blockchain.

A broader focus will be on enabling greater access to DeFi protocols on Bitcoin.
The team revealed that users will be able to link ETH, USDC, BUSD, BNB, WBTC, and DAI between RSK, Ethereum, and the Binance blockchain.
After the partnership, Diego Gutierrez Zaldivar, co-founder of RSK, stated:

I’m excited to see Multichain choose to integrate RSK as the first layer 2 solution on Bitcoin.

RSK is home to the DeFi ecosystem of the fastest growing Bitcoin ecosystem with protocols that are built to last and provide real solutions to problems faced by users in central finance.

This is a huge step forward in the interoperability of RSK which means that thousands of new users can access these DeFi services.

Multichain raised $60 million in December in a seed funding round led by Binance Labs.

A month later, the protocol was severely compromised after attackers managed to exploit a vulnerability.

As a result, $3 million in cryptocurrency was drained during the process.

Then it was reported that a white hat hacker had returned approximately $813,000 in Ethereum.
