He also explained that the airline will benefit from blockchain technology to track aircraft records, adding:

With Metaverse, you’ll be able to transform your entire operations, whether it’s running, training, website sales, or a full experience, into a Metaverse type app, but most importantly make it interactive.

Embracing advanced technologies:

This development comes a month after Emirates revealed its plans to launch an NFT and trials in Metaverse for its customers and employees.

The company previously explained that the adoption of digital currencies is in line with the UAE’s vision for the digital economy.

In line with this, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and CEO of Emirates Airlines and Group, confirmed that the company has adopted advanced technologies to intensify its business operations, improve customer offerings, and raise the level of employee skills and experience, and added:

We are excited about the opportunities in the digital space of the future and are committed to a significant investment in finances and resources, to develop products and services using advanced technologies that will drive revenue, brand experience and business efficiencies.
