Answer Elon Musk, the new Twitter board member, proposes to Twitter to add the option to pay with Dogecoin
Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, bought a 9.2% stake in Twitter and was appointed to the board of directors soon after.
Now, the billionaire has made several proposals for the social media giant’s paid subscription plan, including the proposal to add the option to pay with Dogecoin.
Twitter and the possibility of accepting payment in Dogecoin currency:
Musk has filed documents with the Securities and Exchange Commission showing that he has purchased more than 70 million shares of Twitter, making him one of the largest shareholders.

Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal welcomed the move, saying:
Musk will bring great value to the board of directors.
It didn’t take Musk long to outline many of the proposals.
In a series of tweets, he suggested that the subscription price be reduced from $3 to $2 per month, but paid 12 months in advance under certain conditions.
He also wants prices to be consistent with affordability and in the local currency, in addition to removing all ads for subscribers.
Finally, Musk suggested adding Dogecoin as a payment method.
He is arguably the most influential supporter of the first memecoin ever and has demonstrated his belief in it for years.
Regardless of being an investor in DOGE, Musk took every opportunity to praise the cryptocurrency and even one of the companies run by Tesla accepts payment in Dogecoin.Read:Britain’s Financial Supervisory Authority expands its audit of crypto companies
