Answer Twitter adds Ethereum to its new “tip jar” service
Twitter, one of the social media giants, has made it available to users of its mobile application, and provided them with the option to pay in Ethereum, the second largest cryptocurrency as a tip for content creators on its platform.
The addition of Ethereum comes after the San Francisco-based company began offering Bitcoin as a tip to content makers in late September.

The tip jar feature, which allows users to earn money from their followers, was originally introduced in early May 2021.

Content subscription platform OnlyFans followed in Twitter’s lead earlier this week, allowing creators to show off their NFTs.
Earlier, former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, known to be one of Bitcoin’s most influential and ardent advocates, had publicly demonstrated his opposition to Ethereum, often picking fights with its community.
As we mentioned in previous Bitcoin Arab articles, billionaire Dorsey handed over the reins to former CTO Parag Agarwal in late November, who appears to be more open to alternative cryptocurrencies than his predecessor.
