Leading cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has teamed up with payment processing giant MasterCard to simplify the purchase of NFT tokens.

According for official blog Published yesterday, Coinbase plans to make it easier for new entrants to join the burgeoning NFT market by using a strategy similar to what it previously did with cryptocurrencies.

Despite NFT’s growth in recent months, Coinbase said buying digital collectibles remains a complex experience for many users.

The digital asset platform has partnered with MasterCard, and the two companies will classify NFTs as digital goods to allow customers to easily purchase these holdings.

Meanwhile, Coinbase recently launched a peer-to-peer NFT marketplace called Coinbase NFT.

This platform from Coinbase allows users to mint, buy, sell, view and discover digital collectibles.

By partnering with MasterCard, Coinbase hopes to open up new ways for users to pay for NFT with their MasterCard in the future.

The cryptocurrency company said:

Thanks to our work with MasterCard, we will be able to provide a better customer experience on Coinbase NFT, by planning work to find ways to make this opportunity available to the broader ecosystem through Mastercard’s global reach and network.
