Answer Is Binance looking to get a headquarters in Dubai? Some pointers answer that!

After regulatory tightening in many geographies, Binance is seeking to establish a physical headquarters after it was operating entirely digitally and without a headquarters, encouraging decentralization as told by its founder and CEO.

But all of that looks set to change, as Binance has failed to gain regulatory approval in Singapore.

The CEO of Binance was seen in Dubai, attending a meeting with local authorities.

Chinese journalist Colin Wu tweeted about this, and indicated that several trading platforms, including the largest Chinese cryptocurrency exchange Huobi, were also communicating with the Dubai government to set up an office.

It can therefore be speculated that, like Huobi, Binance is also seeking to establish its headquarters in Dubai.

Last month, in the face of regulatory pressure, Binance announced the suspension of spot trading, the discontinuation of fiat currency purchase channels, and the suspension of cash deposit functions in Singapore, effective October 26.

Additionally, Binance has also appealed to its users in Singapore to withdraw their cryptocurrency and stop trading by the announced date.

As the market leader, Binance is constantly evaluating its product and service offerings.

Binance and Regulatory Repression:

Binance suffered from the wrath of regulators by the Singapore Securities Commission, which kicked off its crackdown on Binance by listing Binance.com on its investor alert list.

In addition, various regulators worldwide have either banned or warned that Binance is in an unregistered status.

From Singapore, the UK, Hong Kong and Japan to the Cayman Islands, South Africa and many more, Binance lost its regulatory bet and finally opted for compliance.

Binance has now announced that it is working to centralize its operations by restoring its relationship with regulators after facing a global regulatory crackdown.

With the end of a bearish third quarter on the crypto market, Binance revealed that it is in talks with several regulators, to get their approvals.

Binance confirmed that it will build a central financial institution with a headquarters, and abandon the decentralized method of operations.

The CEO of Binance stated:

As the biggest players in the crypto industry, we need to prepare for this transformation.

We are making changes to make it easier to work with the regulators.
