The data indicates that this whale made another big purchase hours later.

This time, the mysterious whale added 408 bitcoins.

From a dollar perspective, this purchase was worth just under $18 million.

As such, the total holdings of this single address increased to 112,202.59 BTC.

Taking into account today’s bitcoin prices, this means that the value of bitcoin stored in this whale is worth $5 billion.

It should be noted that this particular whale was among the most active in terms of buying and selling depending on Bitcoin price movements.

In April 2021, when the cryptocurrency soared above $60,000, this whale sold large chunks of Bitcoin.

Once the coin sank and fell below $30,000, this whale resumed buying.

This whale has bought nearly $170 million in bitcoin since dropping from $53,000 to just under $40,000.

pointed out CryptoQuant analysts note that the latest purchase is the seventh since the days when Bitcoin was above $50,000.
